Tell us a little about you and your four-legged friend.

My White German Shepherd Mathias is nearly 6 years old and is used to both the German and English language. He is a "Top Dog" because he is a happy, loyal companion who is very protective of his home.

What made you decide to switch to raw feeding?

It became apparent that Mathias required a change of food, and in October 2023, we replaced his commercial dry food, aka kibble, with homemade dinners.

We also consulted with a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) specialist to address his "environmental allergies" as we wanted to avoid using prescription allergy drugs from our veterinarian.

Introducing Top Dog raw food has positively impacted his overall health. Retrospectively, I wish we had changed Mathias's diet sooner; he now really enjoys his meals.

What's been the biggest difference you've seen in their health and happiness since feeding raw?

The biggest difference I see is that Mathias truly likes his meals. He now enjoys breakfast and dinner daily, eating at a good pace and finishing every last bit in his bowl.

Before, when we fed him kibble, he would lose interest and wander off before finishing his meals, even though I would mix in meat. This indicated that a change to a better, more appropriate diet was definitely needed. I was so glad to discover Top Dog Food and Supply and its informative website with clear product descriptions.
